Garden Diary – January

Happy 2020!!!!

Can’t wait to see how the garden will change this year!!

Camilia has buds on it!

The escalonia is slowly growing (was so tiny when planted ages ago)

The sweet Williams has also grown and has a flower!

I started my bonsai adventure πŸ™‚ the seeds had to be soaked in rain water for 24hrs

They need to experience winter to set off germination so they are now in the greenhouse πŸ™‚

Basil is still growing well (from last year!)

Geranium cutting is so pretty – I have moved both cuttings outside now where Jess and Will patch is πŸ™‚

I tided up the rockery and saw lots of the bulbs I planted πŸ˜€

Also took a trip or two out to some garden centres and got treated to a lovely new plant called Lonicera fragrantissma – smells of honey and lemon πŸ˜‰ I need to figure out now where to plant it!

I was supposed to have a taster session on flower arranging but they moved it to next month so looking forward to learning lots!

So that’s it for this month and the start of 2020! πŸ˜€
