Garden Diary- November

Hello everyone

Winter has truly arrived hasn’t it?? Had to take the sunflowers down but some of the flowers such as cosmos have bloomed πŸ™‚

Giving a nice colour to the garden πŸ™‚ I also brought some heather and repotted it

Moved some of the pots around

Here are some collages of the best bits of this years garden adventure πŸ™‚

The best moments were growing a pumpkin and tomatoes from seed – new fence and getting my little greenhouse! Been a good year for the garden πŸ™‚

My hydrangea is slowly turning pink so I’m adding coffee grounds to help turn it back blue πŸ™‚

I took my first ever plant cuttings this month! I decided to try geraniums

How pretty are they though! I took a few from each colour

Let’s see how they go! I then decided to try choc mint cuttings (so have some always in the kitchen for mint tea)

I have finally started reading Monty Dons Down to Earth book πŸ™‚

I then this month decided to try my first mixed container pot with heathers, ivys and nasturtiums

Nice winter pot πŸ™‚ hope to mix some more next year instead of separate ones πŸ™‚

Later in the month we planted some garlic

So I was thinking that winter time meant no gardening but was I wrong! Been quite busy!

The viburnum has bloomed! It’s so pretty πŸ™‚ We are starting to get frost now but it does look lovely in the morning.

What have you been up to this month in the garden?
