Sweet Chilli Jam

Hello everyone hope you all are good?

So a recipe today!

So as you all know I have been growing some fruit and veg in the garden 😉 well I had 7 chillis ripe and ready to make some sweet chilli jam and so I made a batch with them while waiting for more tomatoes to ripe to make chutney…


7 chillis

3 peppers (I used green only because didn’t have any red)

4 garlic cloves

200ml red wine vinegar

700g of golden caster sugar


1) Chop up all the dry ingredients (finer the better but I’m not good at that so I roughly cut them)

2) Add the sugar and vinegar

3) Bring to boil then simmer for 90mins

4) Cool then transfer to jars

It should be sticky when cooled if not then heat for another 10mins

It made 3 batches (just) and it has a little aftertaste kick to it!
