I’m linking up with JB47’s 100 Word Challenge.Week 39 – 100 word challenge prompt- I’m exhausted, Shut the door behind you……
“I’m exhausted, shut the door behind you” the old lady asked her grandaughter as she was about to receive her cup of tea
“Keeps the warmth in” she added as she put the knitting to one side. The grandaughter went back and shut the door, noticing her nan seemed more fraile as the weeks wore on- that time has taken its toll on her as she looked into her eyes on the way back to the sofa. She remembered when she started to look after her and felt sadness.
“Is their anything else Nan”
“No dear im good”
With that she said what was her last goodbye.
From your novel? I’m intrigued.

It is a weekly creative writing challenge where you get a prompt of some sort and can add 100 words to produce a piece of writing. Here is the latest one – do have a go! http://t.co/1Mvxq5mG

Sad…. and she was so uncomplaining. Nicely portrayed.
